Can you use a Tesla fast charger with a Chevy Bolt?
Tesla fast chargers, usually referred to as Superchargers, are incompatible with the Chevrolet Bolt.
This is so because other electric vehicles, like the Chevy Bolt, are incompatible with the unique charging technology used by Tesla Superchargers.
The SAE Combo Charging System (CCS), a fast-charging technology utilised by many other electric car manufacturers, is installed in the Chevy Bolt.
The Chevy Bolt can be charged at rates of up to 90 miles per hour for DC Fast charging and up to 25 miles per hour for Level 2 charging with this charging setup.
It's also crucial to keep in mind that, while being unable to utilise Tesla Superchargers,
the Chevy Bolt can still use alternative Level 2 and DC Fast charging sources,
both of which are readily accessible in public locations like parking lots, malls, and hotels.
