Does Tesla charge more for using Autopilot?

Since late 2016, Tesla has included Autopilot as a standard feature on all of its vehicles.

Automatic lane-keeping, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring,

and parking assistance are just some of the features that Tesla owners can take advantage of with the free Autopilot feature.

If you want to take full advantage of this technology without having to worry about anything, you'll need to pay extra to upgrade to Enhanced Autopilot,

which adds features like adaptive cruise control and seamless motorway switching. In addition to improved self-parking capabilities,

the new and improved Autopilot includes a feature called Summon, which can be used to automatically pull your car out of a garage or parking spot.

The Full Self-Driving Capability package is currently priced at $8,000, while the Enhanced Autopilot package adds an additional $6,000.
