Ford is reducing Mustang Mach-E costs as the next salvo in the EV price battle.

Ford recently lowered the costs of the Mustang Mach-E to keep competitive in the electric vehicle (EV) industry.

Ford's all-electric sports SUV, the Mach-E, will now start at $39.974, a decrease of about $6,000.

Ford is attempting to meet consumer demand and promote the Mach-E as a more affordable alternative to Tesla's electric vehicles.

Other recent price reductions include a free upgrade to the Extended Range battery,

which reduced the price of certain Mach-E combinations by an additional $2,500.

It is evident that Ford is seeking to attract a different sort of consumer with the Mach-E and make it more desirable in the existing EV market.
