Cars like Teslas are powered by a battery that needs to be charged regularly to keep it going.

As such, the life of the battery will deplete over time and its charge range will go down.

For a Tesla Model S, the average charge range is about 267 miles per full charge and this could decrease over time.

In our testing, the premium Tesla Model S Plaid has an EPA-rated driving range of 412 miles. The claims battery pack has an added 87 kWh,

and the preconditioned battery pack is said to retain its premium charge for up to 200,000 miles.

Taking into account charge cycles and car ambiance temperature, the Tesla Model S could go up to 595 miles.

For example, in our testing, the Tesla Model X cars needed 51 minutes to go from 5 to 95 percent of a full charge with a maximum output of 250 kW.
