How long does it take to charge a Ford F-150 electric truck?
It takes approximately 10 to 12 hours to fully charge a Ford F-150 electric truck.
Depending on the size of the battery and charger, it could take as long as 20 hours for a full charge.
The Ford F-150 is equipped with a powerful 97.4 kWh battery which can be charged from empty in 10 to 12 hours
when plugged into a standard 240-volt wall outlet, commonly known as level 2 charging.
Level 1 charging is available, however this requires about 48 hours for a full charge due to the significantly lower current draw than with level 2 charging.
For optimal results, using an Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) rated for 50 amps
or higher should be used in combination with level 2 charging as this will greatly reduce the time it takes to recharge your F-150.
