I was wondering how long it would take to fully charge a Ford F-150 electric pickup.
The battery of a Ford F-150 electric truck may be recharged in about 10 to 12 hours.
It may take up to 20 hours to fully charge the battery,
depending on its capacity and the charging system.
The mighty 97.4 kWh battery in the Ford F-150 can be fully charged from empty in 10 to 12 hours when connected to a conventional 240-volt wall socket, also known as level 2 charging.
Level 1 charging is an option, however since it draws less power than level 2 charging,
it takes nearly twice as long to fully charge (48 hours).
The time it takes to recharge your F-150 can be drastically reduced by using level 2 charging in conjunction with an Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) rated for 50 amps or greater.
