This past weekend, the new Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 got a harsh reality check when it went up against a Tesla Model X Plaid.

Although the Camaro was equipped with 650 horsepower, the electric-powered Model X had more than double the power at 1,020 hp.

Even more impressive was the instant torque that it was able to provide as it was able to easily overtake the Camaro at all speeds.
