Unlike its Wrangler Rubicon 392 sister, the V8-powered Gladiator will not be manufactured, according to Jim Morrison,
CEO of Jeep North America. Since Jeep introduced the Wrangler Rubicon 392 with a V8 engine a few years ago, rumours of a V8-powered Jeep Gladiator truck have circulated.
There is presently no information on when or if Jeep will produce a V8-powered Gladiator.
Fans of the Jeep Gladiator who had hoped that the Toledo-built truck will also receive the 392 Hemi V8 would be disappointed to learn that this is unlikely to occur, despite the loud and persistent pleas.
The Jeep Gladiator does not come standard with such a configuration, and even if it did,
392 horsepower is nowhere near the incredible 808 horsepower that the Dodge Demon engine is capable of producing.
